MYOB Initialisation Error


In a recent development, a number of MYOB® users are reporting the Initialisation Error when trying to open their MYOB® company file.

The exact cause is unknown. The problem is not with the company file (happens with clearwater sample file as well), but rather with the MYOB® application - it is thought a recent Windows Update may be to blame.

To complicate matters, there are a number of possible causes, with suggested solutions not working in all cases.

We have managed to resolve the issue in all cases where our assistance has been requested. We would need to access your computer remotely to run through 1 of 3 methods of resolving the error.
